Im Wesentlichen ist es ein quelloffener Klon von Transport Tycoon Deluxe, also eine Aufbausimulation, bei der man auch im Mehrspielermodus (via Internet) aus verschiedenen Szenarien - eine Stadt aufbauen, eine Industriekette finanzieren, ... - auswählen kann, um zu gewinnen. Natürlich geht auch Endlosmodus, also spielen, bis man pleite ist.
